Bruce Hughes
President
Bruce Hughes brings more than 30 years of experience in the natural gas pipeline industry to Southeast LNG. As president, Mr. Hughes provides executive leadership for strategy, planning and supply. Prior to this role, Mr. Hughes developed natural gas supply and pipeline expansion projects across the southeastern U.S. as director of business development with Southern Natural Gas Company, a subsidiary of El Paso Corporation. In his tenure with Southern Natural Gas Company, Mr. Hughes has held a number of management positions with financial, regulatory and gas supply responsibilities. Mr. Hughes received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Alabama.
Paul Herrgesell
Director of Operations
As director of operations, Paul Herrgesell is responsible for the day-to-day business and implementation strategy for Southeast LNG, a joint venture between AGL Resources and El Paso Corporation formed in July 2010. In this role, Mr. Herrgesell oversees the company’s trucking and distribution operations and facility planning. His duties include development of an LNG (liquefied natural gas) tractor and tanker fleet; and establishment of staging and fueling sites for the company. Mr. Herrgesell’s experience includes 18 years in various positions at Linde Gas LLC, where he managed 12 production plants, 15 distribution terminals and a dispatch/call center, all operating on a 24/7 basis to supply 4,500 customers with medical and industrial gases via a fleet of more than 165 cryogenic tankers and tractors. Mr. Herrgesell earned a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Hartford and a master of business administration from Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University.
